The following are short answers to important questions.
Taxes Should Be Fair. Waste Is Bad. Transparency Is Important. Keep Our City Safe. Keep West Richland Awesome.
Political signs pop up like weeds every election. Like weeds they are unwanted and annoying. My signs are small and only up long enough to get the job done.
Our current form of government is the most common for a reason. It is efficient and responsive to the people. We don't need the added costs or extra layer of government. There isn't a compelling reason to change.
Fireworks are awesome and dangerous. Some families leave our town and other families travel here for the experience. We need to be aware of the needs of both groups. The city currently has limited the days of sale and use. I would be hesitant to add additional regulations.
I have heard my boys excitedly share stories of fireworks on the 4th. Their cousins from other cities don’t have those same stories. I would vote to build memories as long as we safely can.
Transactional relationships do not a community build. I want the people working in our cities to have a sense of pride and a relationship with the community. We want city workers that feel a sense of pride in our town.
I don't solicit or post endorsements. I don't want to be beholden to anyone but the citizens of West Richland. City Council Positions are nonpartisan for a reason.
I have self funded my campaign intentionally. I don't owe anyone. Issues should be decided on their merits and not their wallets.
